100 Day Challenge - Again...

Well, I've started my 100 Day Challenge for at least the fourth time in the last six months.  The old me would be discouraged with that fact, but the new me knows I will reach the goal eventually - hopefully this time.   Learning to take things one day at a time. Knowing a bad moment does not equal a bad day.

Time Waits for No Man...

Wow. I can't believe it has been 6 months since I posted to this blog.  I would like to say it is because I work full time and have two young rambunctious kids, but those would be excuses.  Deciding now is the time to take time for myself.  Tomorrow is not promised and time waits for no man... or woman.

100 Day Challenge Update - Day 4

So... I officially started my 100 Day Challenge.   For 100 days, my goal is to work out for at least 30 minutes.  Day 1 and 2 were great but I didn't meet my goal on Day 3.  I am going to double up today, Day 4.

Aha Moment via Extreme Weight Loss

This evening, I was sitting on the sofa surfing the net and browsing through channels.  Guess what I came across?  Extreme Weight Loss!  I didn't even know a new season had started.  This show is unrealistic for my current situation but very inspiring.  Tonight's show was about a mother and son who were co-dependent but ultimately lost approximately 270 lbs together.  Their bond and great achievement reminded me how important it is to have an accountability partner and/or support system on your journey.  Aha!  When you feel like giving up, your accountability partner is there to push you back on track and encourage you to keep going.  All you need is one dedicated person so please find a buddy.
